Verizon currently owns 55% of the nation&#8217;s top wireless carrier and it has hired advisors to help it prepare the bid for Vodafone&#8217;s 45% stake, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2013\/04\/25\/us-verizonwireless-verizon-idUSBRE93O02C20130425\"><em>Reuters<\/em> reported<\/a>. Earlier reports suggested <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/05\/verizon-vodafone-merger-buyout-bloomberg-360464\/\">Verizon and Vodafone were discussing various ways the two might resolve their relationship<\/a>, but issues over valuation were holding up discussions.
