{"id":654644,"date":"2013-04-26T08:48:48","date_gmt":"2013-04-26T12:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/?p=226855"},"modified":"2013-04-26T08:48:48","modified_gmt":"2013-04-26T12:48:48","slug":"katt-williams-sentenced-for-evading-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/654644","title":{"rendered":"Katt Williams Sentenced For Evading Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Katt Williams was sentenced on Thursday for his charge of evading police back in November, when he led them on a &#8220;low-speed chase&#8221; in California on his three-wheel motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>Williams pleaded no-contest and was sentenced to 180 days in jail; however, half of that time was stayed and half was turned into community service hours, so he won&#8217;t do time behind bars. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased that he will not be incarcerated and Mr. Williams looks forward to working with the community,&#8221; his attorney, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/412011\/katt-williams-avoids-jail-will-do-community-service-for-low-speed-chp-chase?cmpid=rss-000000-rssfeed-365-celebritynews&#038;utm_source=eonline&#038;%23038;utm_medium=rssfeeds&#038;%23038;utm_campaign=rss_celebritynews\">Richard Schonfeld, said.<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Williams had a very strange year in 2012, including having a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/katt-williams-sued-for-crappy-show-2012-11\">lawsuit<\/a> slapped on him for performing a bad show after he showed up for a comedy show at a club and ended up harassing the audience and trying to fight at least one of the members before storming offstage.
