Intel chief product officer Dadi Perlmutter <a href=\"http:\/\/news.cnet.com\/8301-1001_3-57581500-92\/android-notebooks-yep-intel-says-and-theyll-only-cost-$200\/\">tells\u00a0<em>CNET<\/em><\/a>\u00a0that Intel is supplying Atom processors for a line of <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/18\/google-chromebook-strategy-analysis-android-383472\/\">Android touchscreen notebooks<\/a> that will be aggressively priced in the $200 range. Perlmutter said that we&#8217;re unlikely to see Windows-based notebooks priced in this range, however, since their retail cost &#8220;depends on how Microsoft prices <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/windows-8\">Windows 8<\/a>&#8221; while Android is free for OEMs to use.
