Andrew Guida has joined Macquarie Capital\u00a0<\/strong>as a Managing Director focused on Bank & Thrift and Specialty Finance within the Financial Institutions Group. He will be based in New York. Guida joins from FBR & Co.<\/strong>, where he was an MD in FIG.<\/p>\n

\nMacquarie Group (\u201cMacquarie\u201d) (ASX: MQG; ADR: MQBKY) today announced that Andrew Guida has joined Macquarie Capital as a Managing Director focused on Bank & Thrift and Specialty Finance within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), based in the firm\u2019s New York office.<\/p>\n

Mr. Guida has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking, having advised a broad range of financial institution clients. He joins from FBR & Co., where he was a Managing Director in their Financial Institutions Group focused on M&A, advisory and capital raising primarily for small and mid-cap Bank Thrift. Prior to FBR, he was based in London as an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley.<\/p>\n

His specialized experience with financial institution clients, in addition to a global perspective gained from his experience in Europe, are well suited to our FIG franchise. Mr. Guida holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Washington & Lee University.<\/p>\n
