Jon Stewart is set to take a break from “The Daily Show” in order to direct his first feature film, “Rosewater”, and the show already has his replacement<\/a> lined up. <\/p>\n

John Oliver, who has been a contributor on the show for years, will take over hosting duties at the desk starting on June 10th. His first guest will be actor Seth Rogen. <\/p>\n

Oliver acknowledges that Stewart’s shoes won’t be easy ones to fill, saying, \u201dDon\u2019t worry, it\u2019s still going to be everything that you love about The Daily Show, just without the thing that you love the most about it.\u201d <\/p>\n

Oliver is an Emmy-winning writer and hosts “John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show” on Comedy Central, which features the best stand-up comedians in the business. Stewart returns to “The Daily Show” on September 3rd.<\/p>\n
