Sometimes we cover the tests, and sometimes we don&#8217;t. Frankly there are just too many to keep track of. Matt Cutts has said that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/google-runs-20000-search-experiments-a-year-heres-the-process-diagramed-2012-04\">Google runs 20,000 search experiments a year<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>This one is kind of interesting though, as it completely removes URLs from search results pages (apparently unless there is authorship involved). <\/p>\n<p>Tecno-Net <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tecnonetblog\/status\/330256469058527232\">tipped<\/a> Search Engine Roundtable with a couple screen caps like the one below: <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.ientry.com\/sites\/webpronews\/pictures\/no-urls.jpg\" alt=\"Google SERP without URLs\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>SER&#8217;s Schwartz posted about it on Search Engine Land <a href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/google-testing-search-results-without-urls-158127\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t see Google actually making this change overall. It makes results less informative. What do you think?
