{"id":656525,"date":"2013-05-07T14:05:53","date_gmt":"2013-05-07T18:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/?p=228711"},"modified":"2013-05-07T14:05:53","modified_gmt":"2013-05-07T18:05:53","slug":"lotto-mistake-14m-won-on-accidental-ticket-purchase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/656525","title":{"rendered":"Lotto Mistake: $14M Won on Accidental Ticket Purchase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman who won $14 million in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/tag\/california\">California<\/a> Lottery this week claims that she hadn&#8217;t meant to purchase the ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Thuan Le, a single mother of four, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calottery.com\/media\/press-releases\/press-release?Item=%7B7CF5CA90-2039-4B21-B058-C18053FB2E28%7D\">told<\/a> lottery officials last week that she normally purchases $4 of Powerball tickets and $1 of SuperLotto Plus tickets on a regular basis.  On May 1, however, Le accidentally put $6 into the self-serve <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/tag\/lottery\">lottery<\/a> machine at her local CVS store.  With the extra dollar she purchased an extra SuperLotto Plus ticket, which ended up being worth $14 million.<\/p>\n<p>Le reportedly ran screaming from the store when she verified her ticket numbers had won.  She immediately called her sons and traveled to the California Lotto&#8217;s local district office to claim her $14 million prize.
