Each student would be given a Google account which the teacher would have access to. Probably the coolest feature of the new service is taht the teacher can load an education related app onto the students tablet for the student to use. Schools will still be responsible\u00a0for the cost of\u00a0integrating\u00a0tablets into their school, but Google is providing a framework for them to work with. Google has also add the option for schools to pay with a pay order instead of a credit card. Here is a pic of schools that already use Google apps in some way or another:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-162268\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a  href=\"http:\/\/www.talkandroid.com\/162268-google-announces-google-play-for-education-at-google-io-2013\/google_education\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-162301\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-162301\" alt=\"Google_Education\" src=\"http:\/\/img.talkandroid.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Google_Education-630x472.jpeg\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>Sadly\u00a0my school isn&#8217;t listed, maybe yours is, and if not hopefully with Google&#8217;s new move into education they will be added sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a  href=\"http:\/\/www.talkandroid.com\/162268-google-announces-google-play-for-education-at-google-io-2013\/camerazoom-20130515102548713\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-162302\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-162302\" alt=\"CameraZOOM-20130515102548713\" src=\"http:\/\/img.talkandroid.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/CameraZOOM-20130515102548713-630x472.jpg\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tablets weren&#8217;t the only thing in the education spotlight. Chromebooks made an appearance, too as can be seen in the picture above.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">100,000 Chromebooks have been used by schools world wide to date. This number continues to grow and all of these services to help move that growth forward.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Google is making a push into education and it truly looks like they are going full steam at it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Keep in mind all of this is still in the early stages, but\u00a0finally\u00a0the ball is rolling on tech in schools in a productive way.
