To accomplish this, the company has <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/11\/28\/microsofts-anti-google-ads\/\">launched a &#8220;Scroogled&#8221; advertising campaign<\/a>\u00a0that looks to shine a light on Google and its <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/04\/02\/google-privacy-policy-european-union-410337\/\">sometimes questionable privacy practices<\/a>. The company has previously <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/07\/microsoft-anti-google-legislation-362605\/\">attacked Google&#8217;s search engine and Gmail service<\/a>, and is now taking aim at its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/google-chrome\">Chrome<\/a> Web browser. <a href=\"http:\/\/icosmogeek.com\/internal-microsoft-video-criticizing-google-chrome-now-everywhere\/\"><em>iCosmoGeek<\/em> obtained an internal video<\/a> that is believed to be created by Microsoft that mocks Google&#8217;s latest Chrome commercial. Google recently created an advertisement touting Chrome&#8217;s ability to sync addresses and passwords across smartphones, tablets and desktop computers. Microsoft&#8217;s video attacks the company, meanwhile, for tracking customers and monetizing their personal information with targeted advertisements across smartphones, tablets and desktops.
