Christine White, who played the wife of William Shatner’s tormented air-traveler in the “Twilight Zone” episode “Nightmare At 20,000 Feet”, has died<\/a>. She was 86 years old. <\/p>\n

White had more than 50 acting credits under her belt, but perhaps none were so remembered<\/a> and revered as that of Julia Wilson, whose husband battles a gremlin only he can see on the wing of the plane they’re traveling on in the infamous “Twilight Zone” episode. She also appeared on such popular television shows as “Father Knows Best”, “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, and “Perry Mason”.<\/p>\n

White, who was born in Washington, returned there from New York in order to care for her ailing mother after a long acting career. <\/p>\n
