{"id":659017,"date":"2013-05-20T13:49:12","date_gmt":"2013-05-20T17:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/?p=230926"},"modified":"2013-05-20T13:49:12","modified_gmt":"2013-05-20T17:49:12","slug":"chad-johnson-in-custody-claims-its-a-misunderstanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/659017","title":{"rendered":"Chad Johnson In Custody, Claims It\u2019s A \u201cMisunderstanding\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chad Johnson, the former NFL star who found himself without a job when he was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/chad-johnson-cut-from-miami-dolphins-after-domestic-violence-arrest-2012-08\">released<\/a> from the Miami Dolphins last summer, was arrested early this morning on a probation violation.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is on probation after a domestic violence dispute with his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, and has been placed in jail on $1,000 bond. Prosecutors are asking that he spend a minimum of 60 days in jail after he failed to report to his probation officer. However, Johnson says it was all just a misunderstanding and a lack of communication between him and his attorney is to blame.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t do anything on purpose,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/sports\/Chad-Johnson-Ordered-Back-to-Jail-in-Broward-for-Probation-Violation-208131641.html\">Johnson said<\/a>. &#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t blatantly not show up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The judge didn&#8217;t buy his story, though, and says he doesn&#8217;t think Johnson is taking his sentence seriously.
