They will be living at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in Texas but will be available for the public to check out. Officials say it&#8217;s extremely rare for twin giraffes to be born and survive, which is why they waited to long to announce the births; they wanted to ensure the animals would make it. Usually, twins are stillborn.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Both Wasswa and Nakato are thriving,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxhouston.com\/story\/22440347\/2013\/05\/28\/twin-giraffes-born-in-new-braunfels\">said Tiffany Soechting<\/a>, an animal specialist at Natural Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Wasswa reportedly weighed 95 pounds and was 4.5 feet tall when she was born.
