I drive a tractor trailer and was just diagnosed w\/ 1.5, and they want me to inject insulin. Technically I cant drive if I inject unless I apply for a federal waiver. The amounts they want me to inject are extremely small, and I think I can transfer to a non-driving job in 6-8 months&#8230;my question is, will they know if I&#8217;m getting insulin through our insurance provider, or is that protected by hipaa laws?
