The Zeri Phone by industrial designer Paul Frigout is one such cellphone that gets powered by a thermoelectric and piezoelectric system.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/09\/zeri-phone_iqiRz_69.jpg\" alt=\"zeri phone\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The concept cellphone is equipped with a thermoelectric generator, which produces electricity from the temperature difference produced when the cellphone is being carried in a pocket. To implement this technology, the cellphone features metal wires that are knitted onto fabric. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/09\/zeri-phone_2_VGKtk_69.jpg\" alt=\"zeri phone_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Secondly, for those users who don\u2019t usually carry cellphones in their pocket, the Zeri Phone features a piezoelectric system that is comprised of hair-like generators that produce electricity from the vibration produced by air. Apart from its green credentials, the phone has nothing much for smart phone lovers.
