Amoah who tipped us has confirmed installing the older version restores text message synching, but of course the latest, bugged version is then pushed out soon after.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully Microsoft will address this issue quickly, as I have rapidly fallen in love with the My Phone service as one of the most easy to use backup services available on Windows Mobile.<\/p>\n<p>Edit: A fix is now available (via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobiletechworld.com\/2009\/12\/09\/microsoft-myphone-no-longer-syncing-sms-heres-the-fix\/\" >Mobiletechworld.com<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Edit the registry key<\/p>\n<p><strong>HKLM\\Software\\Microsoft\\My Phone<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>using your favourite registry editor and change the registry value \u201c<strong>DisableSMSDataType<\/strong>\u201d from \u201c1? to \u201c0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Thanks<\/em> <strong>B.
