Dubbed the HOUSE (Home Optimizing the Use of Solar Energy), it is a full-scale zero carbon starter home that requires no form of active heating. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/10\/nottingham-house_2_5pzvA_69.jpg\" alt=\"nottingham house_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nottinghamhouse.co.uk\/\">HOUSE<\/a> complies with Level 6 of the UK\u2019s Code For Sustainable Homes. The L-shaped dwelling lends itself to mass market production in terraces, rows or stacked as apartments.
