You can&#8217;t catch me &#8211; I&#8217;m the gingerbread man!<\/p>\n<p>The gingerbread men that come out of my oven aren&#8217;t all that fast, so I can tell you exactly what happens when I catch one: he looses a leg, an arm or, when I start from the top, his head. I&#8217;ll bet that the same thing happens to your gingerbread men. I jump started the process with these cookies (they&#8217;re<a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/2005\/12\/soft-cutout-christmas-cookies\/\"> sugar cookies<\/a>, not <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/2007\/11\/gingerbread-men\/\">gingerbread<\/a>) by taking a few nibbles before decorating. A little bit cute and a little tragic &#8211; but that&#8217;s just the life of a gingerbread man.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you can buy some very cute cookie cutters that give you <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/2007\/12\/pre-bitten-gingerbread-cookie-cutters\/\">this very design<\/a> &#8211; but why spend the money on multiple cookie cutters when you can use just one and add the bite marks yourself?
