And an update. :)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Hi Everyone,<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;.I came on and introduced myself and then disappeared! I wasn&#8217;t trying to be rude or anything, I just have been trying to fall into a pattern. Trying to learn as much as I can. Trying to deal with the way I feel physically now. Learning to eat right. AND&#8230;.I&#8217;ve lost another 7 lbs. I have my sugars somewhat under control. They are still a bit high at times (between 140 and 160), but hardly do they ever go over 200 and if that happens, I&#8217;ve eaten something I know I shouldn&#8217;t! And a lot of the times, they are actually lower than that. My husbands insurance kicked in and I went to the doctor this week. She has me taking Metformin 500 mg twice a day and said that I&#8217;m doing very well with keeping my levels down. She also sent me for blood work and I go back next week for those results. However, I remember that there was a discussion about having some type of test and I want to make sure that was included in the blood work I had. If not, I want to request it. Can someone help me out with this? Also I&#8217;m allowed to pick a meter with my insurance company and was hoping for suggestions. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Maybe one of those that everyone says is virtually painless? That&#8217;s right up my alley! Hee Hee!! My moods have definitely changed and I&#8217;m in MUCH better spirits. I think I was just overwhelmed, but I thank you all for your kindness. You helped me through a VERY hectic beginning! Things are looking up for us. My hubby will be home for Christmas!! And we will be following him to Virginia around the end of January. I can&#8217;t wait!!! Now comes the daunting task of finding a home there!!
