With beta builds out on all platforms and an extensions gallery now live, it is time for &#8216;stage two&#8217; of the plan when engineers step aside to let the marketing people do their job. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not a natural state at Google, one of the most engineering-centered tech company out there, but it&#8217;s one we&#8217;re seeing more often lately. The last time Google did &#8216;real-world&#8217; advertising it promoted Apps its enterprise office and collaboration suite, but now it&#8217;s pushing Chrome, the browser which is becoming increasingly central to the company&#8217;s plans. <\/p>\n<p>The Next Web spotted a couple of ads from Google&#8217;s just launched campaign in the UK and it&#8217;s clear that the company hasn&#8217;t skimped out. It bought a full page ad in a popular, and free, UK daily. The ad itself epitomizes Google, a mostly blank page with a big Chrome logo and the words &ldquo;Chrome by Google &ndash; A fast, new browser. Made for everyone.&rdquo; The ad opens up to reveal a list of some of the browser&#8217;s strong points.
