The first-of-its-kind charging station in New York is fed entirely by a 235W photovoltaic system. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/16\/beautifl-earth-group_2_goeNU_69.jpg\" alt=\"beautifl earth group_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The off-grid modular station is constructed of recycled shipping containers and can charge a range of plug-in electric vehicle including the BMW Mini E, which has a range of 100 miles and takes about 3 hours to charge.
