The project will be led by Bio Energy Investments and will be constructed on the banks of River Tees in Teesside. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/19\/biomass-power-station_2_f15sC_69.jpg\" alt=\"biomass power station_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The project will be able to power up to 50,000 homes and save 140,000 tons of CO2 from being emitted, through the use of carbon neutral woodchip.
