I used to make a huge batch with Basmati rice, and then eat it for lunch all week!<\/p>\n<p>Cauliflower rice, from 1\/2 a head &#8212; about 3 cups &quot;rice&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Lentils to taste and tolerance (I used about 120 g)<\/p>\n<p>large onion sliced into 1\/2 rings<br \/>\nolive oil<br \/>\nwhole cumin (1\/2 tsp or to taste)<br \/>\nhot red pepper<br \/>\nallspice (1\/4 tsp), or garam masala, or cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>Boil lentils in large vol of water for 20 min and drain<\/p>\n<p>slice onion and fry with spices until brown.<\/p>\n<p>Saute caulirice in butter or olive oil, and add lentils.<\/p>\n<p>Top with browned seasoned onions to serve.<\/p>\n<p>Do calculate your carbs and eat cautious portions &#8212; the onions and lentils make it carby.
