{"id":91280,"date":"2009-12-20T19:42:49","date_gmt":"2009-12-21T00:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.diabetesforums.com\/forum\/chit-chat\/46855-treacherous-ice.html"},"modified":"2009-12-20T19:42:49","modified_gmt":"2009-12-21T00:42:49","slug":"treacherous-ice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/91280","title":{"rendered":"Treacherous Ice"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>I love living outside the big towns\/cities in Ireland &#8230; but sometimes it has it&#8217;s disadvantages.<\/p>\n<p>Was Driving the kids home to thier mother this evening, hit a patch of black ice on a bend &#8230; and had a disagreement with the car over the direction we should be headed.<\/p>\n<p>Got the front of the car moving in the right direction (left, to be precise) &#8230; but the back end just kept on going straight. <\/p>\n<p>Ended up wrapping the thing around the nearby Telegraph pole.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, no-one&#8217;s seriously injured &#8230; but now its 4 days before Christmas, and I&#8217;ve no car, no real alternatives (no public transport out to the Styx) and a ***** of a pain in the neck, literally and figuratively.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love living outside the big towns\/cities in Ireland &#8230; but sometimes it has it&#8217;s disadvantages.
