{"id":94438,"date":"2009-12-22T15:32:28","date_gmt":"2009-12-22T20:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/?p=136656"},"modified":"2009-12-22T15:32:28","modified_gmt":"2009-12-22T20:32:28","slug":"new-york-dog-diagnosed-with-swine-flu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/94438","title":{"rendered":"New York Dog Diagnosed with Swine Flu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.petmd.com\/dog\/pet_lover\/nws_dg_NYdog_h1n1\">A family dog in New York<\/a> state has the distinction of becoming the first canine in the United States to be officially diagnosed with the <strong>2009 H1N1 virus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images1.blisstree.com\/files\/2009\/12\/shot.jpg\" alt=\"shot\" width=\"265\" height=\"396\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-136657\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The thirteen year old mixed breed is thought to have contracted the virus from his owner, who tested positive with the flu himself earlier in the month. <\/p>\n<p>The dog was brought into the vet after his owner suspected pneumonia, but with a critically high temp of 103 degrees, blood tests confirmed he had the flu. After a stay in the pet hospital the dog has fully recovered and isn&#8217;t thought to have passed it on to anyone or anything else.
