RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The efficient and effective running of manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n
Work with other managers to ensure that the business meets its overall aims in terms of meeting customer’s needs for quality and service.<\/p>\n
Continually improve product quality, safety performance, operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs<\/p>\n
Manage the fabrication & completion of work to schedule & budget<\/p>\n
Ensure all policies and procedures are maintained.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Essential<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A minimum of 5+ years of Operations or Manufacturing management in a heavy industrial setting.<\/p>\n
Must be able to demonstrate strong and fair leadership.<\/p>\n
Interpret and Read Technical drawings<\/p>\n
Good knowledge of planning and scheduling<\/p>\n
Managing the process across a continuous shift system<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DESIRABLE<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience of welding techniques and process<\/p>\n
Experience of lean manufacturing techniques<\/p>\n
Experience of 6 sigma.<\/p>\n
BSc in Engineering<\/p>\n
