Google Checkout Notifier Promo<\/a> is an extension that actually comes from Google. The extension allows users to be notified when visiting a store running a Google Checkout promotion. The extension also displays details on any given promotion.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Getting High Marks. <\/strong>Google’s Extensions Gallery for Chrome includes ways to sort for the most popular extensions, and the highest rated ones. Google Mail Checker<\/a> is hugely popular. It displays the number of unread messages in your Gmail account, and lets you open your inbox with one click. Many people are also using the Google Translate<\/a> extension, which translates entire web pages with one click.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Social Tools. <\/strong>You can now use quite a few extensions for social-networking sites and services in Chrome. The Facebook extension<\/a> lets you access your account and get at chat and notifications from the browser. Fast Twitter Search<\/a> lets you search in Twitter with one click. TwitterBar<\/a> lets you post to Twitter from the Chrome toolbar.<\/p>\n
