Today let&#8217;s look at some questions you can use to help sort out the type of garden plants you want to grow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-136948\" src=\"http:\/\/images1.blisstree.com\/files\/2009\/12\/plan-garden-flowers.jpg\" alt=\"plan garden flowers\" width=\"590\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Note that before you can plan for some plant you&#8217;ll need to also figure out your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/fixing-soil-problems\/\">soil type<\/a> along with the other questions in the first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/planning-your-landscaping-garden\/\">garden planning guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What type of plants do you like and want to grow? The possibilities are endless although you&#8217;ll do better with plants that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/your-local-master-gardener-program\/\">grow well in your area<\/a>. Some choices include&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Broadleaf <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/planting-trees-by-their-shape\/\">evergreen trees<\/a> and shrubs<\/li>\n<li>Annual flowers<\/li>\n<li>Deciduous trees and shrubs<\/li>\n<li> Perennial flowers<\/li>\n<li>Vegetables<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/why-herbs-are-my-favorite-garden-plant\/\">Herbs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also I&#8217;d check to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/find-the-best-native-plants\/\">which native plants<\/a> will do best in your area.<\/p>\n<p>Do you like plants with heavy, light, or barely there fragrance?<\/p>\n<p>Favorite colors of plants plus plants that will look good with your home color.<\/p>\n<p>How much lawn do you want? None \/ Small \/ Large? Lawns require more water and reduce the garden plot size.<\/p>\n<p>Is anyone in your family allergic to specific plants, fruits, or veggies?<\/p>\n<p>Where do you want to grow plants?
