You should save your receipts. I have a great system. I stuff them all into my back pocket. Then, before I wash my pants, I pull them out and let them gather in a pile on my desk. Then, as the pile spills over onto my keyboard, I throw them in the garbage. It’s not quite when I had in mind when I drew up the system. As with most tasks, getting organized is easier when you do it all digitally. It’s one reason why I’m starting to use ProOnGo Expense. It’s an application that makes it easy to save receipts while still throwing them away. <\/p>\n

The receipt reader is easily the greatest feature of the application. You just snap an image of the paper with your BlackBerry camera, and the application will send off the image. ProOnGo Expense will then return the receipt with the proper fields filled out. If you want to maintain privacy on some receipts, there is an editor where you can blur out fields you ant to keep from any other eyes. <\/p>\n
The application has a tone of other features, like general expense accounting, exchange rates, sorting and filtering your reports, and time tracking for billable hours. You can export reports to a number of file formats, and also email reports. The application works on and offline, too.<\/p>\n
