Eco Factor: Sustainable greenhouse made using recycled materials.
We’ve seen eco-conscious designers create stunning pieces of art from materials that most would regard as trash. Architect Sebastian Ramirez is taking recycling another step forward by designing a fully functional greenhouse from recycled windshield glass.
The greenhouse stands on eight logs of firewood which are nailed into the glass to create a triangular structure. The highest point of this recycled glass greenhouse is at 3.50m while the lowest sits at 2.50m. The design prevents infiltration of water and allows the designers to move inside the greenhouse with ease.
