Woman abducted, robbed in Schaumburg

Schaumburg police are looking for two men who allegedly held a woman at gunpoint Friday and forced her to drive to an ATM to make a withdrawal.

About 3 a.m., a 53-year-old woman of Houston, TX had just parked her vehicle and was walking to a relative’s house in the 1900 block of Evening Song Court in Schaumburg, when two masked men approached her displaying a handgun, according to a release from Schaumburg Police.

The suspects took her purse and then forced her back into her vehicle, the release said.

They drove the victim to a nearby bank and made her withdraw money with her ATM card, the release said.

The suspects then drove around before finally abandoning the vehicle and releasing the victim along Barrington Road in Hoffman Estates.

The victim was not sexually assaulted but the suspects did strike her during the incident, the release said.

The victim was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates with non life-threatening injuries, the release said.

Both suspects are white males who wore dark clothing and full black face masks over their heads during the incident.

One suspect is described as 5-foot-9 and heavy set. the second suspect is described as 6-foot with a thin build, according to the release.
