OMAHA, Neb., Feb 24, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s 2009 Annual Report to the shareholders will be posted on the Internet on Saturday February 27, 2010, at approximately 8:00 a.m. eastern time where it can be accessed at www.berkshirehathaway.com. The Annual Report will include Warren E. Buffett’s annual letter to shareholders and other information about Berkshire’s financial position and results of operations. For several years prior to 2007, it had been our policy to post Berkshire’s Annual Report on the Internet on the first or second Saturday in March. However, since that time, due to a change in SEC reporting deadlines, we have not always been able to post on a Saturday. Whenever we can post our report on a Saturday we will continue to do so.
The Annual Report is scheduled to be mailed to Berkshire shareholders on or about March 12, 2010. This mailing will also include information regarding our Annual Shareholders Meeting which will be held on Saturday May 1, 2010.
