Eco Factor: Concept bicycle equipped with a trash bin and a trailer.
Industrial designer Alessio D’Onofrio assures that you use your bicycle on all occasions, even for trips where you have to carry loads of luggage with you. The designer has come up with a concept “Bike of the Park,” which is equipped with detachable compartments allowing you to carry everything from your important belongings to trash.
The design is being proposed as an inter-modal system aimed to the conscious and assisted fruition of the National Park of Abruzzo, and is equipped with a removable trailer that attaches to the rear of the bike with a semi-rigid connector. The bike also features removable compartments that can be attached when space for more cargo is needed.
The Bike of the Park also features a removable trash bin that ensures that your weekend trips to the wild won’t have any impact on the delicate ecosystem. The bike can also be powered by electricity, to assist the rider while on hard terrains.
