Eco Factor: Concept electric bicycle harnesses solar energy.
Designed by industrial designer Alejandro Sanchez, the OneTicket Car is a one person electric bicycle with transparent solar panels installed on the front glass. The idea behind the design is to make self-propelled systems more efficient with the use of renewable energy.
The OneTicket Car uses solar panels to charge a battery located under its seat. Energy is also harvested by a manual chain ring, which too recharges the onboard battery by converting human energy into electricity.
Once the battery is fully recharged, the rider can change to the electric drive. The onboard solar panels ensure that energy is harvested on the move.
