Puerto Rico’s El Conquistador Resort Hotel is a first-class international destination that attracts discriminating travelers in search of a relaxing vacation spot in a magnificent environment. MVE intends to set high design standards for the next phases of this overall development and let it become the "living" example for future phases. The site of "The Resort Residences at El Conquistador" is situated some 240 feet above the water, with picture perfect views of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The Resort Residences phase includes four mid-rise condominium buildings of 52 units each and 20 "residencias" of one and two-story villas, plus extensive gardens, patios, terraces and water elements.
MVE’s design style respects and takes advantage of the Puerto Rican history, traditions, culture and life style, and its architectural character is a timeless contemporary interpretation of elements responding to the local climate and the virtually unlimited views. The top levels of these new condominium buildings step back to continue the line of the natural grade, and the single family residences are designed with the main entry at the top level to follow the grade, with the second level below. Sloped roofs, natural and pre-cast stone, smooth plaster and wood materials are used to accent specific design elements and to achieve a playful and well proportioned contemporary vacation resort character.
