Susan Boyle has been unceremoniously snubbed from nominations for the 2010 Brit Awards!
The Scottish spinster’s debut LP I Dreamed A Dream spent six weeks at the top of the Billboard charts in the US and was the biggest-selling album of 2009 over the pond, but somehow managed to not earn a single nod at Britain’s annual ceremony celebrating the year’s best in music.

“The problem for the Brits is they’re supposed to be a celebration of British music – and cool,” a source told The Daily Mail Monday. “And whatever anyone thinks of Susan Boyle, she certainly isn’t cool. She’s not even shortlisted for ‘Best Female’, even though that’s usually the weakest category,” the insider further gushed.
“And it’s not just an attack on Susan. It also shows how Simon Cowell is regarded by many in the record business.”
The 30th Brit Awards will be held in London on Feb. 16.
