Will i get male-pattern baldness?

I have heard that a man’s baldness typically comes from the mothers side of the family. My mum’s dad and brother both have a full, thick head of hair whereas my dad and his dad are both bald.

Does anybody know what my destiny could be? I have quite thick hair but it is curly, and my dad’s hair used to be curly but thin.

Any ideas??

Well im a 20 year old guy, and i dont have a hairy chest, but i do have hair running in a line down my tummy. I just want to keep my hair!!
