That’s how I feel about it. Of course if you are obligated to travel tonight or tomorrow you probably feel quite differently.

‘Let it snow” was written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in 1945. It was written in July 1945 in Hollywood, California during one of the hottest days on record.

It was first recorded by Vaughn Monroe on October 31, 1945. He has a fantastic, mellow, voice!

One of the best-selling songs of all time, “Let It Snow!” has been covered countless times. Due to its seasonal lyrics, it is commonly regarded as a Christmas song in the Northern Hemisphere. Despite its cheery, holiday feel, it is a love song that never mentions Christmas and both the composer and lyricist were Jewish.

In South Central Pennsylvania, It is predicted that we will get 4 to 11 inches, give or take a foot or so. …

It Snowed Harder Later Tue Feb 9, 2010

It’s been snowing fairly lightly but steadily so far. I have everything we need in the way of groceries, including juice and milk.

I have my tea. Thanks to Tony from Australia I have many weeks supply of that delicious Dilmah Earl Grey UN-blended tea!!!! Aaaah! The only thing I’m upset about Dilmah tea is that I can only buy it in 20 bag boxes! Tony had been getting it in 50 teabag boxes and now gets it in 100 (one hundred!) bag boxes!!! This is so unfair!!! I’m going to write my Congressman. This is discrimination against the American public. Hmmm ….. Maybe this is a conspiracy by the UK to punish us for leaving the Commonwealth. Or maybe GB is still ticked off about the Boston Tea party thing???

Only thing I wish I had is a bottle of Harvey’s Bristol Cream. Mmmm Mmmm that would really hit the spot on days like this.

Oh well, if worse comes to worse I’ll see you during the Spring thaw. —ed

Dilmah Earl Grey Tea. Mmm! The best tea on the market.
