We will be actively recruiting for multiple intern roles within our Brand organization;
• Brand Strategy
• Brand Management
• Copywriting
• Graphic Art
Responsibilities:
• Be a champion of Capital One’s Brand personality and the Customer Experience
• Contribute to the innovation, design, and development of creative marketing materials across a variety of channels including broadcast, direct mail, Internet, etc.
• Manage relationships and serve as a key consumer advocate with business teams/partners
• Ensure quality execution of communication strategies
Basic Qualifications:
• Current students in graduate or undergraduate programs, available to begin full-time employment before July 2011
Preferred Qualifications:
For brand management and strategy tracks;
• Strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify insights and how these insights impact the business and strategy
• Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to present and defend plans, recommendations, and conclusions based on research findings, analysis, and insights
• Strong process, project, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact, collaborative environment
• Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Interest in learning about all aspects of a Marketing organization
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• College GPA of at least 3.2
For copywriting and creative design tracks;
• InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (Adobe Suite)
• PowerPoint and other standard office software
• Multimedia and web design experience a “plus” (Dreamweaver, Fireworks)
