somebody before mentioned links to ” bladder cancer ” associated with the problem im asking here.
got me very frightened.
im 32 and years ago used to dye my hair alot , i did it to much and burnt my scalp at the time , and also caused the skin around my temples and forehead to be bleached , resulting in pale patches of skin on my olive complexion.
i have male pattern baldness and realised i probably didn’t do myself any favours my dyeing my hair and over doing it – possibly causing myself more hairloss caused by ‘ burn scar alopecia ‘ because of the over bleached dyeing.
i now take a hairloss medication tablet to for the male pattern balding .
as well as burning my scalp at the time and bleaching the skin around my temples and forehead – i got little red veins appearing on the surface of my scalp probably due to the chemical burn and excessive dyeing.
i want to know : because ive left it years, and ignored the slight injuries through dyeing – should i go and see a doctor about it ? – would there be anything they can do ? – could the red veins be removed ?
would i be at risk of skin cancer because of the chemical burn on my scalp years ago ?
can anything be done about the discoloured, bleached skin around the tops of my head ?
and if i did cause burn scar alopecia , is that a permanent thing or will the hairloss caused through that grow back ?
