Eco Factor: Sustainable pavilion designed for Shanghai World Expo 2010.
Canadian engineering and construction company SNC-Lavalin Inc has unveiled the designs of the Canada Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo 2010. The sustainable pavilion has been designed by Cirque Du Soleil and will feature an exhibition themed “The Living City.”
The inclusive, sustainable and creative pavilion has been designed after taking environmental protection into consideration. A part of the pavilion’s exterior will be covered in a special kind of greenery and rainwater will also be collected by a drainage system for use inside the pavilion.
