The three machine shops exhibited at PVC FEELING

The three systems presented at the recent “PVC Feeling” event differ in terms of their levels of automation and productivity. The first system was designed to produce up to 40 frame squares in eight hour shifts, using 2/3 operators**. The second solution offers a higher level of performance, with 3/4 operators** and productivity rising to 100 frame squares per 8 hour shift. Lastly, the third system proposed, with greater automation, has been designed to make 240 frame squares per 8 hour shift, using 4/5 operators**. These are three proposals that are purely indicative and that can be reconfigured by varying the make up of the machine to achieve different daily production levels or dependent upon the ancillary activities of the purchasing customer.

* Production figures refer to single wing frames of standard size (1500mm x 750mm) and considering machining time only. Assembly, workshop maintenance and of course fitting are therefore excluded.
