Body piercing is when a hole is made in your skin so you can add a piece of jewelry for decoration. The most common  body piercing is the earlobe. Other common body places are the eyebrow, nose, tongue, lip, nipple, belly button and genitals. Some people also pierce their ear cartilage or the hard part of the ear. Piercing breach the skin, which means that skin infections and other complications are possible. Specific risks include:

Allergic reactions. Results in an itchy rash at the skin where piercing was done. This may occur even years after piercing.

Bloodborne diseases. A blood-borne disease is one that can be spread by contamination by blood. The most common examples are HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and viral hemorrhagic fevers.

MRI complications. MRI complications lead to serious skin problems for some. However, for those with kidney problems, contrast enhanced MRI complications could result in a serious problem, known as Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF).

Other skin problems. Sometimes bumps called granulomas form around tattoo ink when piercing — especially red ink. Tattooing can also lead to raised areas caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue (keloids).

Skin Infections. Piercing may lead to local bacterial infections, characterized by swelling, pain, redness and pus-like drainage.

Review:

It’s been ten years on since the first “Shrek” and even in the land of Far Far Away time can pass. Shrek’s (Mike Myers) back in his swamp side hovel, enjoying the good life, all of the headaches that came with rescuing Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) dealt with. He would be enjoying the good life, that is, except now he’s safely settled down with three kids into the monotony of married life and he’s not feeling like the ogre he once was. So when Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn) offers to make him deal so that he can have one more day of free-willing, villager-terrorizing fun, what’s the worst that can happen?

Review:

“Shrek Forever After” has enough in it to entertain both adults and children and make it worth checking out, especially in 3D. While it’s not the grand finish to the series that you would hope for, it’s a definite improvement that makes you forget its weaker predecessor.

Sarah Ferguson was accused of selling access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew for 500,000 pounds. The tabloid News of the World posted video on its website which shows Ferguson discussing payment terms. It seemed that Ferguson, the Duchess of York, fell for the Sunday newspaper’s regular undercover reporter Mahzer Mahmood. In the interview, it showed that Ferguson was demanding a payment that will be wired to her HSBC account. She said to the reporter, “That opens up everything you would ever wish for and I can open any door you want and I will for you. Look after me and he’ll look after you… you’ll get it back tenfold.”

Ferguson and Prince Andrew were married for 10 years and was divorced in 1996. Ferguson had pictures showing that she was licking toes of Johnny Bryant, her financial-adviser, while she was married to Andrew.  They had two daughters before the split. The former couple remains close friends. Ferguson stated, “He’s so amazing. We’re the happiest divorced couple in the world.”

Buckingham Palace did not comment on the allegation to Ferguson.  There were also no indications showing that Prince Andrew was aware of what her ex-wife was doing. The issue, once again, causes embarrassment for Prince Andrew and the royal household.

Jesse James who had been left alone by Sandra Bullock for his cheating has not realized that he has done a huge mistake. In an interview with ABC news Nightline, revealed his honest feelings about his bad decisions in life and he said he responsible for ruining his marriage with Sandra.

Jesse admitted his infidelities, he said “he took a good and amazing marriage and life and he himself threw it away”. He admitted that he had multiple affairs before getting married to Sandra and he also said, he realizes the fact that he is most hated man in the world right now.

After splitting up with Sandra, he attended rehab and he also revealed and confirmed that he will be soon moving to Austin, Texas. Sandra loved Austin and she always thought it as a second home. Jesse James is busy taking care of his three children from his ex-wife right now.

Jesse looked very hones while admitting to everything, he did not deny anything. He must have thought, this may give him some hope to Sandra coming to his life, but as of now, Sandra is happy alone taking care of her adopted son Louis and she has gone too far from Jesse James.

More than 60 people were killed and hundreds were injured in a train accident and a forest fire in China. A passenger train from Shanghai to Guilini derailed which killed around 20 people and injured more than 50 people, and the conditions of injured was serious.

17 carriages derailed and some overturned in the area of mountains, police officer said, there are 118 seats in each carriage and they are not sure how many were boarded on the train, it is a disaster he added.

Another 12 people were killed in a forest fire. China has been facing disasters in series it seems. People have been admitted to the hospital are in serious conditions. Two major road accidents, train accident and a forest fire came in series to China and all together around 100 people were killed

People who were injured in road accidents were rushed to the near by hospitals immediately and according to the police no one was in critical condition. Fire accident victims were the villagers from nearby province who joined the group of authorities to put off the fire which broke out in the afternoon.

Bollywood movie “Kites” starring Hrithik Roshan and Mexican actress Barbara Mori has caught American Media. This is one of the most reviewed bollywood film by US critics. According to New York Times, the story of the film is completely crazy but the photography and stunts really impressive.

Different newspapers had different views about the movie but most of them appreciated and gave positive reviews about the movie. Whereas in home land India, the film did not a get good starting. “You’ll get more than your money’s worth,” said Newsday describing it as “A boldly old-fashioned, I’ll-die-without-you, nobly self-sacrificing movie romance. Gorgeously photographed.

The whole movie had been shot in beautiful Las Vegas, and the stunts done by actor Hrithik Roshan are marvelous. Except the stunts and photography, nothing makes the audience stick to the movie. Story line is weak and the fact that the two lead roles of the movie can’t speak the language of each other is the biggest negative point of the move. Anyways, it is being appreciated among U.S audience, so lets see how the movie rolls on in coming days.

Actress Lindsay Lohan after missing a probation hearing returned from France to Los Angeles on Saturday night. Judge Marsha Revel issued an arrest warrant for missing the hearing. Lohan who is 23 years old arrived in L.A and she was wearing dark sunglasses and a hat. Photographers and paparazzi were waiting to capture the moment.

Judge said Lohan must undergo drug and alcohol tests every week from now, and also she must wear a bracelet which is an alcohol monitor. She is not allowed to drink any alcohol until she appears in court. Lindsay Lohan is considered as one of the most talented actress of the Hollywood but her frequent night clubbing and drink driving problems have slumped her movie career.

Everyone was waiting for Lindsay to appear in L.A and she did not look sad or upset at all after so many gossips about her. In fact she looked like she had a blast at Canes film festival in France and she is not aware of anything.

Though Lindsay has not done any good movies lately, “Freaky Friday” and “Bobby” are memorable movies.

Lindsay Lohan returned to Los Angeles on Saturday night from France, two days after missing a hearing on her probation that made the judge to issue an arrest warrant against the actress.

Wearing a dark hat and sunglasses, Lohan, 23, flew to Los Angeles after a week of parties in the Cannes film festival.

The actress from “Mean Girls” was missing on Monday a hearing in a court of Beverly Hills, called after not completing a course on alcohol education that was imposed after being arrested for drunk driving  in 2007. Lohan claimed that her passport has been stolen.

Judge Marsha Revel on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for Lohan, but later reversed because the legal team of the actress paid a deposit of $ 100,000 (79,000 euros).

Lohan has banned from drinking alcohol, the court ordered her to undergo random alcohol tests, and also to wear a bracelet to monitor her consumption.

The judge extended the probation last October and warned Lindsay that she was in danger of being sent to prison.

Education classes on alcohol are part of the sentence she received after her arrest for drunken driving in a reckless manner and under the influence of illegal substances.

Lohan was considered one of the most talented young actresses in Hollywood thanks to films like “Freaky Friday” and “Bobby.”

Because she has gone to rehab three times in 2007, her career has fallen and her habit of going to parties has become a frequent topic of celebrity magazines.

Since last June after the death of brother Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson stayed away from the screen. 44 year old singer / actress said, she had a tough time while shooting for her last movie “Why did I Get Married too?” But somehow she was strong enough to do this and she also stayed in touch with the family.

While talking at the Brixton Ritzy Cinema, London, Janet said, “it was really tough for her, but she tried her best, it was very draining sometimes. She said, the incident never left her mind and she always kept thinking about how could this happen.

Her ex boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri said Janet no longer wanted to make music because her albums do not sell anymore as they used to in past.  He also said “She wanted to just do singles every once in a while. She’s looked at the marketplace -albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put this entire budget out there”. From last couple of years, Janet’s albums are not doing well in the market and she is figuring out her landscape. Since Michael’s death Janet is not doing so well in anything. We really hope Janet will come back in full energy once again.

Aconteceu hoje dia 23, a corrida de Stock Car no circuito de Jacarepaguá, onde o piloto Felipe Maluhy obteve sua primeira vitória na categoria. O pole position, Allam Khodair liderou uma boa parte da corrida, mas cometeu um erro e caiu para a 3ª posição. Enquanto Maluhy e Ricardo Maurício estavam na frente, e após a primeira parada, Átila Abreu ficou em 2ª lugar.

Depois de um acidente entre Thiago Marques e William Starostik, o Safety Car entrou na pista e acabou com a vantagem que Maluhy tinha sobre Abreu, faltando dez voltas para o final da corrida. Depois da relargada, Átila ficou na 1ª posição mas Maluhy o pressionou a ponto de tomar a liderança da corrida.

O piloto Ricardo Maurício tentou ultrapassar Gomes, mas houve um toque entre os carros e acabou perdendo seu capô durante a corrida, faltando duas voltas para o final. Maurício ainda chegou na 2ª posição, mas foi desclassificado por ter completado a prova sem o capô. Então, os cinco primeiros colocados foram: Felipe Maluhy, Marcos Gomes, Átila Abreu, Allam khodair e David Muffatto. Maluhy, emocionado, diz o seguinte:

“Estou muito feliz, minha equipe fez um trabalho maravilhoso e não fizemos a pole por muito pouco. Dedico esta vitória ao meu pai, que faleceu há cinco meses”.

Tata Motors has milked the Nano minicar’s “most affordable” status for a ton of press, but it might soon hand the title belt over to a new challenger. According to a report at TopNews.in, Geely’s reportedly got its own ultra-frugal compact in the works for 2010. Called the IG, it’s expected to bring a $2,250 price tag and a 1.0-liter, 70 horsepower motor to the party.

We have no idea what to expect from a new car that’s priced like a lawn tractor, but word is that Geely aims to surpass the Nano from a quality standpoint. We already have a good idea of what the IG might look like if/when the Chinese microcar hits crowded city streets in a couple years, since Geely showed off the IG Fantastic concept car at last year’s Shanghai Motor Show.

While we’re certain the concept’s gullwing doors will never see life outside an exhibition hall, we’re thinking that a cute little runabout could fare quite nicely with a $2,250 price tag. We’ll likely never see the IG here in the States, but the folks in China and India will probably love it.

After 800 years of discouraging foreigners, Japan is opening the floodgates to tourists — especially the Chinese. The government relaxed visa requirements for Chinese nationals last summer and now plans to give out ten times as many visas to China.

What deflationary Japan wants is more of this:

(AP) Foreign tourists, especially from China, have boosted sales at major department stores across Japan amid their dwindling overall sales after the collapse of Lehman Brothers in the fall of 2008, the Japan Department Stores Association said Saturday. 

The combined sales of each department store was 2.2 times higher in February, the month embracing the Chinese New Year holidays, compared with the same period last year. The figure in April rose 37.3 percent to 2.4 billion yen as well.

But is it a healthy relationship like the good old days of Chimerica?

The China Bubble inflated prices enough to drive Chinese shoppers to Japan. Chinese money may inflate Japanese prices and skewer Japanese consumer spending. Chinese inflation promotes Japanese deflation, and a crash in either country brings them both down. This is what psychologists call codependency.

Scary when you read Hugh Hendry says the major collapse that spurs global hyperinflation will be Japan or China.

As the hot summer days are drawing faster again, there are many people who prefer to go the swimming pool and have their time of relaxation there. But, the customers should take some precautions about the dangers related to swimming especially when it comes to using the public swimming pools.
There are some reports by the Center for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) that swimming pools that are being used by the public are not safe. They said that the bacteria in these places are high and could be risky to one’s health. As the CDC went around for some investigations, they have reported that 1 in 8 public swimming pools hold violations on the health and safety code. Some of these pools are too dirty that could threaten the public health, while others had other problems like missing safety equipments. According to the CDC, kiddie pools have the most disinfection problems where they found some bits of fecal matters.
In 120,000 public swimming pools that the CDC investigated, 12% of these public swimming pools are for immediate closure due to some serious violations. The public swimming pools that they have investigated came from public park, hotels and also motels.

Los Angeles Lakers lead 3-0 against Phoenix Suns in NBA Western Conference Finals. Boston Celtics in control of Eastern Conference 2-0 against Orlando Magic.

Fans clamor for a possible rematch Lakers vs. Celtics since 2008 in this year’s NBA Finals. Lakers’ coach Philip Jackson is thinking head on saying, “We can’t worry about anything besides this one right now (Suns). We’re just playing to see what happens here.” Kobe Bryant is looking at the game just the same, with his team focusing at the moment for there are still games to win. Meanwhile, on the eastern court Celtics are taking the game on stride to win the championship despite Magic’s home court advantage. Celtic’s coach Doc Rivers avoids any comparison with the 2008 finals because a lot of changes have been going with his team. They are hard on practice now after losing against the Cavaliers in Game 3 semi-finals 124-95. Rivers wants to go for the gold. “This is not a team to rest on its laurels. We got 2-0 lead with home court, but we don’t look at it like that. We look at this as a must win.”

Lakers in the past finals had lost to Celtics three times. It was a mismatch, a sports commentary adds.

But that was before. It could be different this time.

The finale of American TV series “Lost” will be tonight. Executive producers has some spoilers for tonight’s finale.

“Lost” Executive producers reveal some inner details on how the Finale will end in its last episode tonight on May 23, 2010. They didn’t give too much away but they made the viewers more curious and eager to watch.

The Man In Black will be introduced in the season as the brother of the guardian of the mysterious Island, Jacob. The Man in Black is said to be made from smoke with the name Smoke Monster, or often called “Smokey”. He only inhabits the bodies of the dead, such as John Locke. A lot of people are thinking that the man in black is actually Locke. It confuses the viewers because he looks like Locke for some reason. The Man in black is similar to a shape shifter that illuminates people.

There are only a few more hours until the much-awaited 2 1/2 hour season finale of “Lost”. We will clear the teasers tonight and see what will really happen.
