  • FIA WTCC Mexico Round Cancelled

    This year’s season of the FIA World Touring Car Championship could be reduced to only 11 rounds, as it was confirmed that the Mexico round of the 2010 series, initially scheduled to take place on April 11, was cancelled.

    Dacia’s first-ever SUV, the Duster, has already caught the attention of car enthusiasts around the world and even managed to set a new record by becoming the world’s cheapest SUV.   • Ford Continues UK Growth in February

    Things are getting better for Ford, as the car manufacturer has announced an UK car registration growth just ahead of the important March plate-change month.

    China is becoming more and more interested in using new energy vehicles, as these represent both a green and an economic opportunity.   • Audi Optimistic on Q1 Sales

    German carmaker Audi is expecting a strong growth in the first quarter of this year when it comes to sales, especially following the encouraging results it posted in February. Last month, Audi sales were increased to 75,900 vehicles, a 19.9 percent increase as compared to the period of the previous year.

  • 2010 Mitsubishi Galant Recalled in the US

    Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has just announced a new recall, this time considering the 2010 Galant vehicles which are apparently affected by a leaking fluid issue in the transmission system.   • 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon to Debut at 2010 NYIAS

    This year’s New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) due to be held in April will premiere the 2011 TSX Sport Wagon, Acura announced today. According to Honda’s luxury cars division, the Sport Wagon will join the TSX lineup, which already includes the 4-cylinder and V6-powered sports sedans.

    Suzuki’s deal with Volkswagen changed plans of several automakers that previously collaborated with the Japanese manufacturer, most of them deciding to end ties with it.
