  • Skoda Fabia Facelift UK Pricing Announced

    Skoda has announced the UK market pricing for the facelifted Fabia range.

    The Fabia hatchback, Fabia estate and the Roomster MPV have adopted the new Skoda family identity and feature new engines. The hatch model starts from 9,330 pounds sterling, while the cheapest version of the Roomster will set you back 11,260 pounds sterling.

  • BMW X1 to Be Produced in China

    BMW will assemble a series of models in China, via its joint-venture with Brilliance Auto. The cars built in China will include the BMW X1 compact SUV, the BMW 1 Series and the stretched version of the BMW 3 Series, as Gasgoo reports.

    Last week, during the Geneva Auto Show, BMW chairman and CEO Norbert Reithofer announced that the X1 would be the third model to be built at the joint business’ Chinese factory.

  • Renault Showcases Geneva World Premieres in Paris

    L’Atelier Renault, the carmaker’s flaghip showroom, located on the Champs Elysees in Paris, is hosting a new vehicle line-up exhibition that will showcase the company’s latest models to the French public.

    The display bears the Sensations name and features ex-Geneva Auto Show world premieres, such as the Renault Wind, the Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet and the Dacia Duster compact SUV. In total, six models are presented to the visitors.

  • Sir Stirling Moss In Hospital after Lift Fall

    Sir Stirling Moss suffered a lift accident at his home over the weekend and is not recuperating in the hospital, as confirmed by the media in the UK. According to the early reports, it seems a malfunction at the lift caused him to fall down three floors of a lift shaft.

  • EU Considers 100BHP Limit for Motorcycles… Again

    New regulations for on-road motorcycles seem to make their way through again on the EU agenda, including a 100 bhp limit, mandatory ABS and periodic roadworthiness testing. The Department for Transport (DfT) has asked UK motorcycle groups for opinions on the plans, MCN reports.

    Also included on the list are anti-tampering measures and new emissions limits, which have been proposed for safety reasons, without having any proven safety benefits.

  • Audi Starts to Deliver the Evolution-Version R8 LMS

    According to Audi, its new GT3 customer sport program has reached a new milestone. The German car manufacturer says that by the middle of April it will hand out 20 Audi R8 LMS cars to teams competing in various national and international racing series, including the two 24-hours races at Nurburging and at Spa-Francorchamps this season.

  • PSA to Sell Rebadged i-MiEV

    Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has just announced the signing of a final cooperative agreement with PSA Peugeot Citroen (PSA) for the development and supply of the rebadged i-MiEV. The small electric vehicle will be sold through the Peugeot and Citroen dealer networks in Europe, says just-auto.com.
