  • Mazda Turkey Managing Director Leaves Company

    Just one year after he was promoted to the Managing Director position, Bora Koçak announced he will leave Mazda Turkey this month, due to what he says are personal reasons. The carmaker says Koçak’s successor is to be announced officially the following weeks.

    Car rental company Avis signed an agreement with Renault-Nissan to provide electric cars to its consumers from 2011, the same year when the alliance is due to introduce several electric cars showed to us at the past auto events.

  • Harvick Takes Sam’s Town 300 at LVMS

    With 25 laps left before the end of the race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and despite having to battle slow stops on pit road and countless tire strategies thrown in the game by competition, Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick managed to pass Denny Hamlin for the lead, beating him in the end by 1.361 seconds.

    The first victory of the Nationwide season for the team and the 35th-career Nationwide Series victory for Harvick came after a rain delay at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

    Volkswagen Group-dedicated tuner Hofele Design has prepared a tuning package for the Audi brand’s flagship sedan, the recently introduced A8.

    The German tuner has upgraded both engines currently available on the A8. The luxury sedan’s 4.2 liter FSI V8 petrol powerplant has been upgraded from its stock figures of 372 HP and 445 Nm of torque to 400 HP and 475 Nm of torque.

    General Motors will introduce a new generation Event Data Recorders (EDRs) in all its future vehicles, in order to record imported crash information.
