  • Top Chinese Commercial Vehicles Producer Reports Tripled 2009 Profit

    More and more automakers take advantage of China’s booming car market, with both domestic and imported brands enjoying increasing sales. China’s largest commercial vehicles producer, Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd, has recently announced that its 2009 net profit tripled, an increase driven by the manufacturer’s hefty growth in the high-end sector of the market, as Gasgoo reports.

  • Mazda Partners with Yokohama for Targa Tasmania 2010

    This year, Mazda will enter Australia’s Targa Tasmania race with Yokohama tires, as the Japanese car manufacturer announced a partnership with the tire maker.

    The Mazda RX-8 SP of Steve Glenney and the New Generation Mazda3 MPS of Brendan Reeves will be using Yokohama’s 18 inch ADVAN A050 semi-slick tires. In addition the Mazda RX-8 SP will use light weight ADVAN Racing RG2 wheels.
