The 50-year-old music mogul – who recently confirmed plans to marry the makeup artist – is getting some help with wedding planning from ex-girlfriends Sinitta and Jackie St Claire.
“With Simon’s hectic schedule there are only so many weeks in the year they can get married. They felt the spring was too early to get things organised and Simon would be spending most of his time in America with Idol. So they pencilled in the weekend of September 11/12,” a tipster told London’s Daily Mirror this week.
Rock star Pete Doherty has been charged with allegedly providing the drugs that killed heiress filmmaker Robin Whitehead, who died of a suspected overdose in January.
Whitehead, 27, had been working on a documentary about the drug-addict singer’s decadent lifestyle and his relationship with supermodel Kate Moss. Robin — an heir to the Goldsmith dynasty — was found dead in an East London apartment nearly three months ago.
The English musician was taken into custody after police saw a footage Whitehead had filmed at an apartment in Homerton, East London. It showed Doherty, 31, Whitehead, and others using heroin and crack allegedly provided by the Babyshambles star. Pete left for his Wiltshire home leaving behind a stash of drugs, before Whitehead died. However, Doherty insists he is innocent.

Doherty has been released on bond and is expected back in court next month.

Several television network executives have rejected Hilton’s pitch to launch a new reality show following her engagement and wedding to boyfriend and former Hills star Doug Reinhardt, industry insiders say.
“She’s been on TV constantly since 2003, when ‘The Simple Life’ debuted, and the public may be saturated with Paris,” The New York Post’sPage Six Column quoted a source as saying.
Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Hilton, 29, has denied plans that there are plans for any such show.

We didn’t know R. Kelly was directing the new season of The Real World….The latest installment of MTV’s longest-running reality drama hasn’t even aired yet, and already police have been called in to investigate an alleged incident involving two cast members from The Real World: New Orleans.
Up-and-coming reality personality Ryan Leslie — a hairstylist from Arizona — contacted authorities in the Big Easy this week, alleging one of his roommates on the show, Preston Roberson-Charles, urinated on his toothbrush and used it to scrub a toilet.
According to a police report obtained by local paper The Times-Picayune, Ryan says he had to go to the emergency room after falling ill following the alleged toothbrush debacle. A spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Department told the newspaper that no charges have been filed.
“I got into a argument with my roomate (sic) preston,” Ryan wrote in his handwritten statement to the police. “In the argument preston stated that he was going to do something to my belongings. Preston later came in my room and took my tooth brush (sic) off the counter and scrubbed the inside of the toilet and urinated on my toothbrush. I wasn’t aware of this and continued to use my toothbrush..I soon started to get a sore throat and began to get a fever,” Leslie’s statement continued.
“It was extremly (sic) painful and only got worst (sic). I went to urgent care and was tested for strep and mono both came back negative but I was diagnosed with a viral infection.”
The next season of The Real World is being shot at a home owned by Los Angeles Clippers star Baron Davis. The show is expected to air later this year. The second time MTV has ventured to New Orleans for a season of The Real World, which last hit the Big Easy in 2000.
Former Hills star Jason Wahler was arrested for drunk driving Friday night, PEOPLE.com reports. The collar marks the sixth DUI-related arrest for the 23-year-old reality star, who once dated bestselling author Lauren Conrad.
Wahler’s past run-ins with the law include 30 days in jail for a drunken brawl in a Seattle hotel in 2007 and a two months stint behind bars for assaulting a tow-truck driver and city employee in Los Angeles in 2006.

In his first one-on-one interviews since his suspicious car accident Thanksgiving weekend, Woods spoke out on his infidelities, his return to golf and his relationship with wife Elin in two separate five-minute interviews with ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi and Kelly Tilghman on The Golf Channel Sunday.

Legal eagle-turned-television personality Star Jones is recovering in a New York City hospital after undergoing heart surgery earlier this week.
The procedure was related to another surgery the former View co-host had decades ago as a teenager.
“On Wednesday, March 17th, a pre-planned cardiac surgery was performed on Star Jones,” a statement from the rep read. “This recent surgery is a follow-up to the thoracic surgery she had 30 years ago. The procedure was successful and she is recovering well with her family. Star is grateful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers.”
Star, who had gastric bypass surgery in August 2003, has been Tweeting a lot about her faith in recent days:
“Be blessed y’all. Rumor:Charlie’s Angels is returning to TV nearly 30 years after it left the air — thanks to big screen angel Drew Barrymore — and according to a scoop featured in the March 29 issue of GLOBE, Lucy Liu and Rihanna may be putting on their halos for the new show.
The island-born “Umbrella” star and Liu — who co-starred as Alex Munday alongside Barrymore and Cameron Diaz in two successful film adaptations of Aaron Spelling’s ’70s crime drama — are in the running for Angel roles on a new hour-long TV version of Charlie’s Angels, the tabloid report claims.
TV industry insiders are predicting the revived Charlie’s Angels could be a mega-moneymaker: after all, the original series launched the careers of Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith.
“The girls we pick must be incredibly capable, but not take themselves too seriously,” Drew says of the type of actresses she’s hoping to cast as sexy L.A.-based P.I.s on the new show.
While acting novice Rihanna is rumored to be making her silver screen debut as a prostitute in an upcoming remake of the 1985 film The Last Dragon, Lucy, on the other hand, is a seasoned vet. Barrymore is reportedly eager to bring on 41-year-old Liu in hopes that the TV role will help revive the minx’s somewhat fleeting career. This week’s 14th season premiere of South Park was most watched season opener for the envelope-pushing, animated comedy since its premiere in 1999, says The Hollywood Reporter. The Comedy Central smash — which returned for a new season on Wednesday — brought in a whopping 3.7 million viewers for an episode that poked fun at the buzzed-about Tiger Woods sex scandal. South Park even doodled in a golf-wielding appearance from Tiger’s scorned wife, Elin.
Maybe next time they can do an episode based on Tiger’s filthy sex texts to former mistress Joslyn James.

The Hills’ Heidi Montag is making her acting debut alongside Hollywood vets Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in the forthcoming romantic comedy Just Go With It. A role that ironically sees the reality tart starring as one-half of a plastic surgery-addicted power couple.
“Kevin Nealon is my husband,” Heidi told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Friday. “And he’s had more surgery than I have in the movie, so we kept playing around with who has more injections,” she quipped of her on-screen love interest, played by the former Saturday Night Live funnyman.
Heidi also speaks candidly about why she hired — and then abruptly fired — her psychic spiritual leader as her manager.
Chris Evans — best known as Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four movies –has beat out a bevy of stars, including Ryan Phillippe and Chace Crawford, in the race to become comic book superhero Captain America on the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 28-year-old star has been offered the titled role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming blockbuster The First Avenger: Captain America. In addition, Chris is also being lined up to battle The Matrix and The Wolfman in two Captain America sequels and could be featured in several other Marvel movies, including The Avengers.
Alex Ross, the artist who redesigned Captain America for Marvel Comics, recently went public with his thoughts on who should play the character. And if he protests are any indication, many die-hard comic book fans will be none to pleased with Evans’ casting: “We’ve been saying for years, if you don’t sign Jon Hamm to play this part, you’re crazy,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “Captain America is supposed to be the patriarch of the Marvel universe. To get a guy in his early to mid-20s is only thinking about where the character began, not what he ultimately needs to become….”

Ke$ha — AKA “Who Gave This Broke Bitch A Dollar Sign?” — isn’t done firing shots at fellow talentless pop sensation Britney Spears. The Hollywood party animal takes a dig at the “Toxic” hitmaker on her new track, “Styrofoam.”
“In 10 years, Britney Spears…Britney, who?” Ke$ha croons on the over-the-top dance single.
Perhaps the insult would have stung more if Spears hadn’t been consistently churning out hits for 11 years, but since she has Ke$ha sounds like a bitter biter. (I’m no Spears fan, but you have to give credit where it’s due…..)
It’s the second time in little more than a month that Ke$ha has publicly called out Britney. In February, the “Tik Tok” singer ripped Spears for lip-synching in concert: “I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance,” she told Britain’s Daily Record.
