  • Kate Gosselin Vows To Win “DWTS”

    A glammed-up Kate Gosselin will be taking the ballroom by storming on the new season of Dancing with the Stars, and the overbearing mother of eight has already devised a strategy she’s certain will help her win.

    Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday, the recently-divorced reality TV star revealed how a regime of daily dancing in her basement will seal victory and claim the sought-after Golden Disco Ball Trophy.

    “I cannot dance, but I’m gonna win,” Kate assured Jimmy. “I’m going to travel back to Pennsylvania, my partner will go with me, and I’m going to practice in my basement while [my kids are] home or sleeping,” she remarked. “When they’re at school I’ll go to a local studio. The whole goal is to be home as much as I can. I’ll come back and fourth every week.”

    The newest lineup of celebrities hitting the dance floor for the 10th season ABC’s Dancing with the Stars have been paired up with their professional dance partners!

    The all-new celebrity cast of DWTS and their partners were revealed by ABC on Good Morning America Tuesday morning. Some of the pairings may surprise you, so be sure to let us know what you think.

    According to The Associated Press, this season’s teams are:

    Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin partners up with Ashley Costa (formerly Ashley DelGrosso), who returns for her fourth season.

    Actress/model Pamela Anderson joins professional dancer Damian Whitwood, who makes his “Dancing with the Stars” debut this season.

    ESPN host Erin Andrews teams with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who returns for his eighth season.

    Actress Shannen Doherty teams up with two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ Mark Ballas, who returns for his sixth season.

    Reality star Kate Gosselin teams with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his ninth season.

    Olympic figure skating champion Evan Lysacek teams with Anna Trebunskaya, who returns for her fifth season.

    Comedienne/actress Niecy Nash teams up with Louis Van Amstel, who returns for his sixth season

    Outspoken NFL star Chad Ochocinco teams up with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who returns for her ninth season.

    “The Bachelor” star Jake Pavelka joins Chelsie Hightower who returns for her third season.

    Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger teams with Season 7 champ Derek Hough, who returns for his sixth season.

    Soap star Aiden Turner teams with Edyta Sliwinska, who is the only pro to compete in all 10 seasons of “Dancing with the Stars.”

    The new season of Dancing with the Stars kicks off in three weeks on ABC. The couples will hit the dance floor on the two-hour season premiere on Monday, March 22 @ 8 PM.


  • When Hugh Hefner Met Baby Hank: A Playboy Story

    Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was formally introduced to the son of his former girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson, in a meeting at the Playboy Mansion on Monday.

    Kendra — who moved to Indiana when she wed NFL star Hank Baskett last June — Tweeted the news during a vacation to Los Angeles this week.

    “….goin over to the mansion today to visit @hughhefner. Lil Hank gets to meet him today!! So excited! (sic)”

    Hugh and Kendra have remained close ,despite splitting in 2008. Hefner, 83, even attended Kendra’s baby shower last September. The lothario was thrilled to meet little Hank and posted a picture of them all together on his own Twitter page:“Kendra and Hank are back in LA and they brought little Hank for his first Mansion visit this afternoon.”


  • Howard Stern Rips Jay Leno On CBS’ “The Early Show” VIDEO

    Grab some popcorn, pull up a chair, and watch the drama unfold: Radio shock jock Howard Stern toned down his usual radio schtick during an interview on CBS’ The Early Show on Tuesday, but the razor-tongued prankster minced no words about his dislike for late-night star Jay Leno — just hours after Leno returned to his post as host of NBC’s The Tonight Show.

    Stern lit into Leno, viciously comparing his nemesis to a “lapdog” and a “showbiz animal, who just won’t let go.” Howard even revealed that the mere mentioning of Leno’s name “makes him want to vomit.”

    One sitcom clan we won’t see on TODAY this week is The Brady Family. Former series stars Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb reportedly caused the cancellation of a televised reunion planned for this week because they didn’t want to appear together.


  • Jay Leno Returns To “The Tonight Show”

    He’s back, Jay Leno has hosted his first show in late-night since Conan O’Brien’s departure from NBC late last month. The Tonight Show with Jay Leno relaunched Monday night with a visit from Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, a tongue-lashing from Betty White, and the still-embattled Leno channeling Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.

    Leno started Monday’s show by spoofing the end of the cinema classic, where Dorothy awakens to find all those crazy goings-on were only a dream: “I went away to the strangest place. It was wonderful, but some of it wasn’t so nice.”


  • Box Office Faceoff: “MacGruber” vs. “Shrek Forever After”

    MacGruber is opening the same weekend as the fourth and final Shrek movie. MacGruber was initially slated to open on April 23. Will Forte’s comedy action hero will now grace screens on May 21, sharing its opening day with Shrek Forever After.

    The news comes on the heels of some major developments for both features: Just last month, the behind MacGyver consulted attorneys in a bid to block the release of the upcoming SNL cinema spoof based on the 1980s TV series. And on Monday, DreamWorks announced that Manhattan’s ninth annual Tribeca Film Festival will open with the world premiere of Shrek Forever After on April 21.



  • Guru Dead? Gang Starr Rapper Gravely Ill After Cardiac Arrest

    Guru, one half of pioneering Brooklyn-based hip-hop group Gang Starr, is in a coma in a New York City hospital after suffering a heart attack over the weekend. Guru is best known for penning hits such as “Words I Manifest,” “Discipline,” and “Just To Get A Rep” with legendary producer DJ Premier.

    The 43 year-old, whose real name is Keith Elam, reportedly underwent surgery on Monday — prompting a litany of death rumors on Twitter. Not so, says hip-hop producer Solar, who works with the rapper.

    “Guru is struggling with a serious health issue. We appreciate all your love and well wishes. we continue to hold out hope that Guru will make a full recovery from this, and ask that his privacy on this matter be respected. Again Thank you for all your support through this trying time.”

    Guru was named #45 in a “Top 50 MCs of Our Time” list at About.com.


  • Did The Oscars Snub Robert Pattinson?

    Producers of this weekend’s 82nd Annual Academy Awards have hit back at claims that they left Twilight star Robert Pattinson off the guest list of presenters for the show.

    Pattinson’s co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been confirmed as award presenters at the event on Sunday, prompting fans of the popular vampire franchise to bash Oscar bosses for seemingly snubbing the star. Oscar co-producer Adam Shankman insists he tried to get Pattz on board to present, but the actor is unavailable to attend due to his busy filming schedule.

    Pattinson is currently promoting his new romantic drama Remember Me, as well as shooting scenes in Europe for his upcoming feature Bel Ami.

    Shankman tells E!Online: “I think the Pattinson community (fans) is going insane. All I want to say is, ‘He’s not available!’ It’s not like we snubbed him. It’s not like we said no to him. We asked him to be in the show. We tried really really hard to get him there. We were working on getting (film studio) Summit to fly him in for the day, but eventually it became too much.”

    In a new interview with Britain’s OK! Magazine, the former child star — who has battled addictions to cocaine and alcohol — reveals that the final two of her three trips to drug treatment were more akin to a vacation that a grueling stepping stone to a sober lifestyle: “The second two times I went to rehab, to be honest with you, I had to go because it was a court thing. It was an obligation. I had to do it to stay out of getting any jail time….It was like a vacation. I love meeting new people and seeing what they’ve been experiencing. I met some great people. It was a nice time to shut everyone off for a while because there was so much noise. It was a positive experience….”

  • Jennie Garth Writing Children’s Book

    Jennie Garth is writing her first children’s book.

    The former What I Like About You actress is putting pen to paper for a set of stories aimed at kids ages three-to-eight.

    “I just signed a two-book deal to start my own children’s books. So I’m really excited about that!” she revealed to Us Magazine on Monday.

    Garth certainly has the experience to write for the tot set; the star has three daughters with her longtime hubby, Twilight actor Peter Facinelli: Luca, 12; Lola, seven, and Fiona, three.

    Jennie’s first book is set to hit shelves next February. We should mention that she’s following in the footsteps of her former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Tori Spelling. Spelling is already a New York Times bestselling author, with her first two memoirs shooting to the top of the coveted literary list. Last month, Tori announced that she is pening her first kids’ book, scheduled for release in September.

  • Billy Baldwin Chynna Phillips Divorce Filing Withdrawn After Change Of Heart

    Billy Baldwin and Chynna Phillips’ 18 year union nearly came screeching to a halt when the former Wilson Phillips crooner filed for divorce last week; Phillips ultimately had an 11th hour change of heart and ordered her attorney to withdraw the paperwork on Sunday.

    The filing came just hours after Phillips was released from rehab last Friday. The daughter of Mamas & Papas co-founders John & Michelle Phillips entered treatment for anxiety on Feb. 12. Celebrity insiders say a frazzled Chynna was driven over the edge by a series of career and financial struggles, as well as her half sister Mackenzie Phillips’ revelation that she had engaged in a decade-long incestuous relationship with their father John.

    Baldwin and Phillips have three children together.

    Jessica Simpson hates that people know what she’s like in bed — thanks to John Mayer.

    The singer-and-actress was extremely unhappy with ex-boyfriend John Mayer over a controversial interview in which he described her as “sexual napalm.” Last month, John caused controversy when he gave an interview to Playboy Magazine describing Jessica – who he dated for nine months until May 2007 – as the sexual equivalent to crack cocaine.
