The University of Uppsala is promoting a new wave power design – Ocean waves — our new electricity supplier.
Uppsala researchers have developed an entirely unique energy technology that is adapted to the slow movements of waves. Now this technology is to be deployed in the world’s first commercial wave power array.
– The future looks very bright. It’s gratifying to be able to say that our concept – which is based on simple and robust technology – actually works, says Mats Leijon, professor of electricity at Uppsala University, whose research team developed the technology.
What’s special about this wave power facility is that it is driven by a so-called linear generator, to which a buoy is attached with a line. An ordinary generator converts rotation energy to electricity and needs to spin at more than a thousand revolutions per minute to be efficient, but the linear generator can produce electricity from the slow movements of the buoy as it rides the waves up and down.
The technology has been tested in an experimental facility outside of Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden and then been further developed by the spin-out company Seabased, with support from several energy companies, among others. …
Now the energy company Fortum wants to use the technology to expand its green electricity production with a commercial wave power array on the west coast. It will be the first wave power station in the world to supply electricity to private individuals.

«Каштановая революция» победила!
Долгие годы киевлян отстраняли от управления городом. Укрупняли районы чтобы до чиновников было сложней добраться. Прятали от горожан и застройщиков земельные планы и списки памятников архитектуры чтобы первые не начали протестовать, пока все не оформлено, а вторые исправно платили взятки. А о выборах мэра «за килограмм гречки» и говорить не приходится.
Все это закончились «Каштановой революцией»: в один из «Дней Киева» горожане свергли «власть зажравшихся заезжих бюрократов» и на референдуме приняли новую «Конституцию города». Районов стало около сотни однако их объединили в пять административных округов. Депутатов вновь избирали напрямую партиям оставили только парламент. А выбираться могли только жители округа. Все документы стали доступны в интернете: любой киевлянин мог контролировать власть, а некоторые вопросы решали онлайн-голосованиями. А здание КГГА превратилось в огромный общественный центр
Киевляне потребовали переместить «центр страны» куда-то подальше из их любимого города. Новую «прописку» правительство получило на Теличке в бывшей промзоне, по размеру больше Подола! Кстати, так и депутатам с министрами стало ближе добираться до их загородных особняков. А киевляне наконец получили возможность смотреть на правительственные здания издалека магистрали проходят в стороне от Телички, и только эстакада к Южному мосту идет над этим чиновничьим муравейником.

«Киев-Сити» вместо судоверфи
Подол веками был символом торгового Киева и вот по другую сторону гавани теперь стоит «Новый Подол» район небоскребов «Киев-Сити». Если когда-то Контрактовые ярмарки собирали купцов со всей Восточной Европы, то теперь Киевская фондовая биржа на Рыбальском острове стала символом финансового могущества «нового экономического тигра» Украины. В этот бизнес-городок поспешили перебраться самые престижные корпорации, а исторический центр оставили киевлянам и туристам.
Воротами комплекса стал бизнес-вокзал: когда-то унылая и пустынная ж/д платформа «Оболонь», где даже не останавливалась городская электричка, теперь принимает экспрессы и личные вагоны бизнесменов. Прогуливаясь с гостями города по Днепровским склонам, киевляне любят показывать на Рыбальский: «там вершится судьба европейской экономики!»

Транспорт: все станции метро и не сосчитать!
Купить машину киевлянам давно не проблема но «рулить» по городу хотят немногие. Полагаются на такси, но чаще отправляются на работу или в театр на общественном транспорте. Метро, трамвай обычный, скоростной и речной и городская электричка славятся поминутным расписанием и просторными салонами.
Маршруты городской электрички пролегли и за город в Вишневое, Ирпень, Вышгород, Бровары, Борисполь и другие пригороды можно добраться в любое время. А специальные экспрессы связали Центральный, Рыбальский, Дарницкий и Правительственный ж/д вокзалы с аэропортом «Борисполь» дорога занимает каких-то 20 минут. А историческую «красную» линию метро отстроили по проектам 1950-х годов. Ведь уже несколько лет, как метро достроили на Теремки, Троещину, Виноградарь и Соломенку
Трамвай это уже не одиночные вагончики, а длинные поезда в десятки метров настоящее наземное метро! Ну и чуточку подземное: Борщаговскую линию скоростного трамвая сначала продлили в центр, а потом пустили под Печерском в тоннеле и дальше на мост Патона и в Дарницу. Второй открыли Днепровскую линию «Север-Юг»: от Выдубичей до Пущи-Водицы, за ней: Левобережную, Отрадненскую, Окружную по одноименной дороге. А прекрасно восстановленные трамвайные раритеты вернулись в центр только их пускают на пешеходные улицы.
Высотки под общаги, даешь пятиэтажки!
Когда офисы «отступили» в «Киев-Сити», центр стал оживать многие бизнес-центры перестроили в жилые дома и отели для туристов. Строить высотки в центральных районах строго запретили впрочем, никто и не пытался. Горожане хотели жить на нижних этажах: чтобы за окном были деревья, во дворе уютно и соседи все знакомые Киев стал городом 4-6 этажных таунхаусов. А когда-то престижные жилые 20-30-этажки стали офисными центрами и общежитиями для студентов.
Киевляне полюбили 24-этажки: здесь жили большие семьи, как в особняках. Под крышей в мансардах с вычурными башенками селились люди творческие и молодежь, а первые этажи занимали торговцы: здесь они и жили, и работали. В каждом квартале свой магазин продуктов, а то и не один. Заготовители покупали свежие овощи и молоко у бабушек из окрестных сел и строго следили за качеством ведь клиентами были соседи. Так в Киеве сами собой исчезли стихийные рынки.

Набережная Печерска
Проплывая мимо Печерска по Днепру, киевлян всегда поражали живописные зеленые склоны и это в центре города! Популярный еще в 1950-х годах Днепровский парк на склонах к 2000-м годам стал почти непроходимыми джунглями кафе разобрали, лестницы разрушились, за деревьями никто не следил.
Парк обрел новую жизнь, когда от Днепровской линии трамвая по склонам вверх протянулись эскалаторы к Лавре, площади Славы, Арсенальной и Европейской площадям. Движущиеся лестницы имели множество остановок на склонах: кафе, рестораны, восстановленный Зеленый театр, детские аттракционы привлекали тысячи киевлян и туристов. Эскалаторы оказались настолько удобны для Киева, что шутники даже называли их «Метро-5», как пятый вид скоростного транспорта.
А у Почтовой площади дорогу и трамвайную линию упрятали в тоннель аж до моста на Труханов остров. Стоявшие брошенными здания водоканала превратились в уютные кафе на берегу реки летом тысячи киевлян с удовольствием отдыхают на пешеходной набережной по дороге на пляж.

Когда правительство переехало с Печерска, район расцвел теперь это туристический центр города. Не «Художественным Арсеналом» единым: в правительственных особняках на Липках теперь роскошные галереи, а завод «Арсенал» стал огромным техническим музеем: первые, еще огромные, компьютеры, оружие и электроника. Прямо в здание ведет один из эскалаторов с Набережной его устроили по тому самому тоннелю, в котором проходил первый киевский водопровод.
Напротив, в здании казармы на Перешейке, теперь музей армии: кроме экспонатов, неизгладимое впечатление производят кинопоказы в зале 3-д ужасы войны и героизм наших прадедов реалистичны как никогда. А у Никольских ворот ежедневная смена почетного караула. Как и двести лет назад, это парадный вход на Печерск.
Когда наконец открыли «Художественный арсенал», узкие тротуары улицы Мазепы не выдерживали потока туристов к мега-музею и Лавре. Улицу сделали пешеходной: чтобы попасть с Парковой дороги в центр, теперь автомобилисты поворачивали на новую дорогу по бывшему рву Киевской крепости, проносились под улицей Грушевского мимо стоявших над обрывом и угрожавших пушками корпусов «Арсенала» и выезжали сразу на Кловский спуск. А собственно на Печерск по традиционной аллее Героев Крут, но под улицей Мазепы: автомобилям отдали «подземный базар» на площади Славы под проезд и паркинг.

По дороге на Подол
Днепровский парк на склонах протянулся через полгорода: от Лавры к Ботаническому саду и дальше к Лысой горе пролегла канатная дорога. А как приятно пройтись тенистым Мариинским парком до одноименного дворца: когда президент перебрался на Теличку, сюда перенесли Центральный ЗАГС. Дальше прямиком на Владимирскую горку по огромному пешеходному мосту над одноименным спуском и в Древний Киев. Вслед за Михайловским собором отстроены Десятинная церковь и Феодоровский монастырь киевляне «собрали» «золотой треугольник» древних храмов.
Андреевский спуск обрел мировую туристическую славу, и богатые гостиничные корпорации выкупили соседнюю Воздвиженку. Олигархи 2000-х, которые здесь раньше имели квартиры, не рискнули жить в центре города и предпочли остаться в «добровольном заточении» за пятиметровыми заборами в загородных особняках.
Могилянку выселили из монастыря
А на Контрактовой площади мы попадаем уже в начало XIX века. Спустя два столетия достроен Контрактовый дом по проекту Вильяма Гесте и Андрея Меленского на месте «площади ларьков». За ним притаилась крытая станция скоростных трамваев. Больше всего споров вызвало переселение Могилянки, когда восстанавливали Братский монастырь. Для этого пришлось частично разобрать полукруглый корпус на площади на месте фасада теперь вновь колокольня. А во дворе восстановили сам собор
Место для Могилянки нашли рядом: в огромном квартале между площадью и улицей Флоровской недавно располагалась большая военная часть с плацем, а выходившие на площадь дома были унылы и неприветливы. Теперь здесь основные учебные корпуса. А главным корпусом Могилянки осталось исконно академическое здание на углу с улицей Ильинской
Парк советского периода
ВДНХ выставочный центр образца 1950-х годов уже никак не годился для выставок, однако архитектурой сталинского ампира как нельзя лучше подходил для такого проекта. Сюда же переместили памятники советским деятелям. Через комплекс можно было прокатиться на экскурсионном трамвае кстати, раритетном.
Здесь же расположились музей общественного транспорта и музей автомобилей. Причем авто можно арендовать, как и номера в выстроенном в виде хрущевки отеле конечно, с советским интерьером! Некоторые ностальгирующие киевляне выкупали здесь номера на недели чтобы вспомнить детство или представить рассказы родителей

Если разобраться
Почти все уже могло бы быть
На самом деле, здесь нет ничего невозможного. Намного «сказочней» выглядят многие киевские проекты, а уж генпланы тем более. Впервые перенести административный центр страны на Зверинец предложил еще гетман Павел Скоропадский в 1918 году с дворцами, канатными дорогами и даже метро! Свежий вариант расположить всех на Теличке предложили в 2005 году. Тогда же появился амбициозный проект «Киев-Сити» отрадно, что в минувшем году на месте первого здания района небоскребов появился строительный забор.
Над жилой застройкой в Киеве экспериментируют: и ансамбль Оболонских Липок, и новые 59-этажки в пригородах. Первым районом таунхаусов стала Воздвиженка спустя десятилетия типового строительства архитектура оживает! А монолитно-каркасные технологии открывают полную свободу творчества для архитекторов.
С перспективами строительства метро все более-менее понятно, да и городская электричка в пригороды непременно нужна сколько можно мучить киевлян в тесных маршрутках. Трамвай им в помощь: реконструированная линия на Борщаговку с турникетами и крытыми станциями должна продемонстрировать, что это то же метро, только дешевле и быстрее в строительстве. Продление под Печерском на левый берег планировалось еще в 1970-х годах, линия по Набережной до Выдубичей очевидна ведь свяжет три линии метро и автостанцию с Подолом. В тех же 1970-х планировался и скоростной по Московскому мосту, но в последний момент его заменили троллейбусом и уже десятилетие троещинцы пропадают в пробках. А метро по Окружной предлагали эксперты из Кабмина лет 5 назад
Сделать Набережную пешеходной и сохранить там трамвай зарубежные архитекторы предлагали еще в середине 2000-х, однако застройщики запланировали там элитное жилье к счастью, дома там не построили. «Открыть» корпуса крепости, где сейчас завод «Арсенал», предлагали еще в 2007 году как и связать Парковую дорогу и Кловский спуск. Эскалаторы с Набережной на Печерск проект 1940-х годов, фуникулеры там же планировали до революции. Мост над Владимирским спуском проект 1930-х и 1950-х годов
Интересно, какая «Каштановая революция» нужна этому городу, чтобы заставить власти думать не только о своем кармане, а о Городе и Киевлянах?
