  • A telling omission by Real Climate by Anthony Watts, WattsUpWithThat.com

    Article Tags: Anthony Watts

We’ve all pretty much had it up to our keesters with the brusque and dismissive treatment that commenters who don?t agree with the RC world view get over there. This is why many of us have simply given up trying, there?s no point in attempting to have a relevant and open discussion there anymore.

It should be foremost on the minds of many that the RealClimate.org webserver domain is funded by Fenton Communications, an eco media group. Further, our tax dollars pay the salaries of people like Dr. Gavin Schmidt of NASA GISS who has been (according to several post and comment times noted) using his taxpayer paid time at work to participate in that blog.

One of the missions of RC (Actually most of the mission, as it was setup as a response to the McIntyre and McKitrick paper in E&E, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT VOLUME 14 NUMBER 6, November 1st 2003) is to counter skeptical arguments. One of the ways they do this in to provide a list of people they disagree with, with links to rebuttals.

  • Mercedes CLS shooting brake on the way

    Mercedes Fascination Concept

According to reports, the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake will arrive in 2011 as the production version of the Mercedes Fascination concept car, presented at the Paris motor show back in 2008. The three door coupé will appear alongside the four-door coupé, which will be officially presented at the 2010 Paris motor show.

While Mercedes is unlikely to use the name ’shooting brake’, the style could also produce a five-door version which would substitute the R-Class in the future. An AMG shooting brake version seems almost guaranteed, as Mercedes uses the four-door model to compete with cars such as the Porsche Panamera and Audi A7.

Ginger andmany of its chemical constituents have been shown, in numerous clinical studies, to be useful in combating postoperative vomiting and vomiting of pregnancy. It may be worthwhile investigating the effect of ginger on vomiting during cancer chemotherapy, as the crude drug and its constituents have themselves anti-cancer actions. More studies are also required on the kinetics of ginger and its constituents and on the effects of their consumption over a long period of time. Ginger is considered to be a safe herbal medicine with only few and insignificant adverse/side
    effects.
